Makes me smile.

This is the first eight minutes of Snoopy Come Home.

Great Bill Melendez animation.

  1. I saw this film so many times as a kid - and I have no recollection whatsoever of that gloriously insane, surreal and joyful first 25 seconds or so of the title sequence.

  2. I also didn't realize the Sherman Brothers did the music for this film. Um. Not their best work. "No Dogs Allowed" is memorable, but more for Thurl Ravenscroft's thundering bass of a voice than for the actual song. ("No dogs allowed! You're not a crowd!" Er... what?)

  3. I always thought it was "You're not OUR crowd," which makes slightly more sense.
