She used to be so nice-looking...10 years ago (give or take), before she had the "baby fat" beaten off her by a business that thinks Kate Winslet is somehow too heavy.
I loved her.

I just wept when I saw the "Black Snake Moan" trailer and saw how bony she had become. Makes me glad I didn't see her around town when they were filming here.
Well, to be fair, in "Black Snake Moan" I could argue that her gaunt appearance is a character choice. It's a good movie and she's good in it.
Haven't seen it yet, but I can see the argument. If it wasn't followed up by so many other pictures of her in a similar state w/ no sign of reversal, it wouldn't be so bad. But, well, as you can see...
