I am PROUD to say I had never heard of them before. After a ferreting out of info at 8 a.m. this morning, I discovered they are a conservative, right-wing press. Further, over 90% of their articles are concerned with what is happening in your country, not in ours--how does that make them a CANADA free press?
We just had a do-nothing federal election of our own. I call it "do-nothing," because of two factors: only 58% of the populace voted at all, and the results only slightly strengthened the current minority government, which everyone I know think are bungling things nicely. Was any coverage in the Canada Free Press? Of course not.
So, in short, this is not a "paper" you should take seriously--unless you are already a conservative wingnut.
