Best televisual "Did I hear him right?" moment in recent memory
At the end of last night's "Boston Legal," James Spader's Alan Shore greeted William Shatner's Denny Crane by saying "I've hardly seen you at all this episode."
I caught that 'un, too. The question I have is was that a flub that Spader made while filming, which they decided to keep in - or was it written into the script? Either way, it was a genuine what th-? moment. . .
It seems unlikely it was a flub, but maybe an ad-lib. Given the in-jokes of previous episodes, with references to "Pretty In Pink" and Klingons, I'd assumed it was deliberate.
