Prepare to feel really, really sad

You've probably heard by now about George Tiller, the abortion doctor who was killed in Kansas over the weekend. I didn't say anything about it because there didn't seem to be that much to say.

Aside from the obvious and oft-commented-upon irony that "pro-lifers" seem to have no trouble commiting murder. And as I say, that's both obvious, and oft commented upon.

This, however, is new. A question. If someone was going around saying about a person that:

He "destroys fetuses for just about any reason right up until the birth date for $5,000."
He's guilty of "Nazi stuff,"
a moral equivalent to NAMBLA and al-Qaida
"This is the kind of stuff that happened in Mao's China, Hitler's Germany, Stalin's Soviet Union"
"operating a death mill"
"has blood on his hands"
"executing babies about to be born"

Well...would you think that someone was supporting and promoting violence against that person?

Guess what.

These are all things that Bill O'Reilly has said about Tiller.

Had to fix this comment once I reread it. Placing the bracket in the right place really changes the context.

What angers me the most about the right (and you DO NOT see this on the left) is that they spread this hate speach knowing full well that some unstable individual will take it as a request by God to do something deadly. They are the most cowardly liars and while I totally support free speach, there has to be some line where it crosses into a criminal act and THESE are criminal acts by the Beck, Rush and O'Riellys of this world. I honestly wished for someone to make them feel as scared and threatened as they make their 'enemies' feel. They live in their glass houses and lord over all of us like the paragons of virtue that they are not. But libs don't owe the guns but I do have a baseball bat.

If I were George Tiller's family, I would include Bill O'Reilly, and Fox as defendents in civil litigation, as well as the murderer. There have to be grounds, and I'm sure a crack lawyer would be able to find them. Of course, playing "devil's advocate," it would be hard to make any charges or penalties stick.

Either way, O'Reilly is a dangerous asshole, and this is the proof.
