This being the Internet age, you repair to your computer and look her up. The actress, named Michelle Collins, while evidently rather well-known in Britain, doesn't seem to have done any other film or TV work that you've seen.
But it turns out she either performed in the videos for, sang backup on, or both, two songs by Squeeze, one of your favorite bands. Including this one, from 1979:
How beautiful is that? I figure she has to be around 16 years old here (I'm assuming she's the one with "SQU" written on the back of her jacket).

Michelle Collins is indeed a wonderful star actor who is known in the UK for her roles in television series such as Eastenders, Real Women, Sunburn, Daylight Robbery, 2000 Acres of Sky and Single. She is soon visiting the USA to make a film there, so look out!
Despite the Wikipedia entry, I don't think she was in the Squeeze video Cool For Cats, and having watched your link I am fairly sure that neither of the performers in that video are Ms Collins. Her screen debut, however, was as the 'girl from Clapham' in a Squeeze video for Up The Junction in 1979. There seem to be two different versions of this video, as the track on the Squeeze Singles compilation video (in which the group play in a kitchen) does not feature her. I don't actually have the Mich-featured version of Up The Junction (although I saw a clip of it on TV once and Michelle has mentioned it in interviews) and I wondered if you knew whether this is available anywhere?
Incidentally, Ms Collins did not sing with Squeeze, but she was a backing singer for Mari Wilson in the early 80s, and later released two solo singles.
