Things I've Found In Books, continued:

Just now, between pages 212 and 213 of the Seattle Public Library's copy of It's Good To Be The King (a Mel Brooks bio), by James Robert Parish, the following:

--handwritten onto a piece of Four Points By Sheraton memo paper. Presumably from the Westin or other nearby hotel. I don't know to be sure, but I'd like to think the receipent of this note gave Deborah some great pleasure in that hotel.

Which apparently meant so little to him/her that she or he left a souvenir of it in the middle of a chapter about Mel Brooks' gimmicky attempt to resurrect silent screen comedy.

The heartless brute doesn't deserve you, Deborah.
