I just read Pattie Boyd's memoir-she was a model who was married to George Harrison and then Eric Clapton. The above, BTW, is the UK cover and title-in the US it has a different cover and is called directly after the Clapton song. One of many Boyd inspired. I liked the picture.

I've always loved Patti Boyd. She never looked sweeter than in the promo clip they did for "Something". As I say in the post that accompanies the video, her smile about 28 seconds in melts me every time.
That said, I read the published excerpts from this book, and while they were fascinating, they also made me very sad. It always brings me down to read stuff like that about people I looked up to growing up...
I know what you mean. I find it almost always helps to separate the myths from the man.
Talents don't vanish because people who have them have flaws.
