Further on my mild obsession with Emmy Rossum

I discovered recently that I'd been mistaken when I said I'd never actually seen Rossum act in anything.



She played the small (in terms of screen time) but important role of Sean Penn's daughter in Mystic River. I'd forgotten it was her but I do remember the part, and she was very effective.

Besides, goofy grins just knock me out (see left).



Rossum also has an album out.

The following is the first single, "Slow Me Down."





I think both the record and video are a tad overproduced, but there's very little arguing with her beauty or that she's got the pipes.
