Query

Ok. Here's a news item from the AP, via Earthlink news. It's about a man who tried to stop a couple from stealing a tip jar from Starbucks, and was run over by them in a car for his troubles, dying two days later.

There's heroism and tragedy in this--the heroism self-evident, the tragedy...

It's believed there was about $5 in the tip jar.

But here's what I don't get. The headline:
Man Fatally Hurt Trying to Stop Thieves

How can you be "Fatally Hurt?" Shouldn't it be something like:

"Man Dies Of Injuries Inflicted Trying To Stop Thieves"

Just a thought, an idle observation if you will...
